Coffee Summer Specials - Part II

7 refreshing drinks for hot days

On hot summer days you would do anything to cool down a little. The heat makes you feel terrible, and since you probably don't have a pool handy every day, we have a quick and sure-fire solution: ice. Lots and lots of ice. Or even better: iced coffee.

We challenged our friends from Bujole, Olivo and the Olivo Coffee.You.Go kiosk to let their imaginations run wild and create some drinks suitable for the summer period, where coffee is the star. We were very pleasantly surprised by their creativity and ideas, and what came out we reveal to you below. Floral or fruity, more or less alcoholic, discover the 7 drinks, one for each day of the week, and enjoy them on the go, on a deck chair or even at home.

In a previous article we presented you with the first 4 drinks, and now we present you with the other 3.

Friday – French Mystery – Flaviu's recipe, Bujole

- cold brew 50 ml
- Chambord liqueur 20 ml
- orange bitters 15 ml
- lemon juice 10 ml
- sugar syrup 10 ml

With an unmistakable black raspberry taste, Chambord liqueur is inspired by the drink originally brewed in France, in the Loire Valley, since the late 1600s. The story goes that King Louis XIV himself particularly wanted it at the royal court after what he discovered during a visit to Chambord Castle.
Through the French inspiration, the cocktail proposed by Flaviu represents in its essence the spirit of Bujole. Being refreshing and springy, the cold brew flavor is very well highlighted, and the raspberry aftertaste is reminiscent of childhood fruit candies.

Saturday – Spice Cold Irish – Csabi's recipe, Olivo Caffe

Csabi is one of the most serious baristas we know, but that does not stop him from innovating, on the contrary, he is always open to new ideas and proposals. Passionate about latte art, he is so focused that we often have the impression that he has detached himself from time and space somewhere in his own universe of small works of art.
A classic alcoholic drink served as inspiration for the proposed recipe. The popular Irish Coffee has been reinterpreted in a fresh summer drink, perfect to be enjoyed somewhere on a beach at sunrise. Wherever you are, be sure that you will have a real energy boost, as cold brew also has the highest caffeine content of all types of filter coffee.

Sunday Morning - Mihai's recipe, Olivo Caffe

In the beginning, the barista job was for Mihai a simple occupation during the summer. But this quickly turned into a real passion, which infected him like a microbe. He is fascinated by coffee, which he appreciates for its versatility. She finds her motivation every day in the pleasure of experimenting and learning new things about coffee.
The inspiration for the proposed recipe came to him on the spur of the moment, from the desire to create a representative drink for Olivo Caffe. The aroma of espresso is complemented by a surprising taste: triple dry and a hint of orange. The result? A refreshing taste, perfect to be enjoyed on a relaxing Sunday, with no plans and no responsibilities.
