Gesha Farm is located in southwestern Ethiopia, near Gesha Village, in the Bench Maji area, a region closely connected to the origins of the Gesha coffee variety.
Established in 2019, the farm covers 1,000 hectares of land, with approximately 350 hectares dedicated to cultivating carefully selected Gesha coffee plants. The farm is surrounded by natural forests, where deep, fertile brown soils and the shade of native trees create favorable conditions for coffee cultivation.
Coffee cherries are carefully harvested and dried on raised beds, with attention to preserving the quality and natural characteristics of each harvest. The farm also explores different processing techniques to develop the flavor potential of its coffees.
Rooted in the landscape where the Gesha variety originated, Gesha Farm reflects the connection between Ethiopia’s coffee heritage, its natural environment, and the careful cultivation of specialty coffee.
