If you're considering a career change, are a coffee enthusiast, or simply want to learn more about coffee's journey from farm to cup, this is the place to start.
Based on the SCA Modules – Green Coffee, Sensory, Roasting, Brewing and Barista, you will learn about:
- how harvesting, processing and roasting influence flavor
- how to taste coffee like a pro
- brewing and coffee extraction theory
- espresso technique
You can attend the course out of curiosity, but it has often proven to be the very start of a career in the coffee world – the variety of topics covered makes it a good way to get an overview of the different paths you can take.
Introduction to Coffee is a one-day course, held between 10:00 and 16:00, including the lunch break.
