The Moka filter idea was created to improve coffee extraction from the Moka pot.
E&B Lab has developed a filter with smaller holes (0.2 mm diameter) than traditional ones, fewer and larger ones (≈ 0.8 mm diameter), which allows perfect extraction by avoiding high pressure water that would could damage the coffee.
A cleaner drink is obtained due to the reduction of fine particles in the cup, thus the acidity is accentuated and the bitterness is reduced.
