Academia Del Caffe is like a journey where you learn everything specialty coffee means: from the bean to the cup.
The final module of this course series focuses on two very important aspects, taste and smell.
In this last module, you will learn:
- how you can identify different taste intensities with the help of diluted solutions that represent the 5 basic tastes
- finding out (by smelling) the group of aromas found in coffee
The activities of this last workshop are conducted in the form of tests that provide real and objective feedback related to your qualities as a coffee taster.
You will learn about its provenance, origins, what are the differences between origins, about coffee processing methods, what are the major differences between arabica (specialty coffee) and robusta (commercial coffee), about the roasting process. You will also "get to know" the coffee bean and dissect it together with our colleagues.
Running time: 1 hour and 30 minutes.
