This is the ideal course for you if you are thinking of becoming a barista or simply want to learn more about espresso based coffees.


You will work with the best equipment in the field and you will learn the basics of dosing and brewing coffee, adjusting the grinder and tasting. The efficient technique of mounting and pouring milk cream to create creamy and attractive coffees such as Flat White, Latte or Cappuccino will not remain a secret either.


In short, you will find out:

  • understanding the notion of espresso extraction
  • the effective technique of whipping and pouring milk cream
  • Basic Latte Art
  • cleaning and maintenance espresso machine and grinder


The objective of the course is to familiarize you with espresso equipment, so that you can quickly and correctly present espresso-based drinks. At the end of the course, you will be able to create a full menu of espresso-based drinks and be confident in using the grinder and espresso machine.


Barista Skills Foundation is a 2-day course, held between 10:00 and 16:00, including lunch break.
