Tuang Coffee was founded in 2014 by Andre Tuang in Ruteng, on Indonesia’s Flores Island, with the mission of supporting local farmers and improving the quality of specialty coffee in the region.
Today, the organization brings together over 2,500 members, promoting sustainable farming practices, fair pricing, and community development. Coffee is grown using natural fertilizers, with shade trees protecting the crops and careful harvesting ensuring quality.
Beyond coffee production, Tuang Coffee supports farmers through transparent pricing, pre-harvest financing, and interest-free loans. The organization also invests in local communities by funding electricity infrastructure and providing educational scholarships for farmers’ children and employees.
Each harvest reflects a commitment not only to high-quality Indonesian specialty coffee, but also to the people and communities behind every cup.
